The Monitor (St. Paul area) is asking for financial support via a voluntary pay drive. While this piece ran in the print product, their web edition also offered a direct link to supporting the publication as well. The publication partnered with local businesses to host a weekly drawing for donors. They initially launched a voluntary pay program in 2019.
